DIE SPRINGS

Die Springs It is a type of compression spring. But it's different in that it's a spring that can withstand high compressive pressure. This die spring is ideal for applications involving high loads or harsh conditions such as high temperature applications, automotive applications or heavy machinery. It is a good choice for applications that require high compression in a confined space.
Die spring made from square wire with rounded corners. The materials that are often used for production include oil-tempered steel and chromium alloy. It has a chromium layer to increase wear and corrosion resistance. Using the less common but much stronger chromium silicon or chromium vanadium increases dimensional accuracy and minimize stress points. It can be wound in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. The ends of the springs can be either open or closed. The production of die springs is closely monitored to ensure spring quality under heavy pressure. Therefore, users should not change or modify this spring in any way.

Using die springs in corrosive environments, such as where they are exposed to lubricants and chemicals, can shorten the life of the spring. Including the installation and use of springs where the shaft or spring guide is not aligned or has been installed incorrectly, it may also affect the life of the spring. Users should clean the die springs regularly. And all springs in the set should be replaced at the same time, not just one, to ensure consistent performance.
Die spring color-coded to indicate workload where various colors Indicates the operating range of light loads to extra heavy loads as specified by the manufacturer. For example:
  • Yellow (Extra Light Duty Die Spring) is a die spring for special light compression work.
  • Blue (Light Duty Die Spring) is a die spring for light compression work.
  • Red (Medium Duty Die Springs) is a die spring for medium duty compression work.
  • Green (Heavy Duty Die Springs) is a die spring for heavy compression work.
  •  Brown (Extra Heavy Duty Die Springs) is a die spring for extra heavy compression work.
  • Black (Mega Heavy Duty Die Springs) is a die spring for special heavy compression work.
